Obesity is one of the main problems many developed or developing nations face nowadays. The root of this problem is inactivity. With technology becoming handy and machines taking place of humans, there are very few physically exhaustive works that have remained. Because of this idleness, our body can’t use the energy we have taken via food and it increases the fat inside your body.

One way to solve this problem is to increase the physical activity, do the workout in gym, yoga, walking etc. But this alone would not help until you change the food habits of yours. When you take high carb diet, your body produces glucose by digesting the food. Since glucose then travels through your body via blood, the fat you have accumulated remains untouched and that makes you obese. That’s why a low carb diet is utterly needed to transform you.

Keto Diet or Ketogenic diet is known for its low carbohydrate and high protein nature. That’s why the experts consider it best for reducing the fat and growing muscles. Since the carbohydrates’ intake is lower, our body will fulfil the needs of energy from the stored fat inside our body. This process is known as Ketosis. When the fat is broken down, an organic compound known as Ketone is produced and that’s how this process and food gets its name.

Any low carb food such as egg, salad, chicken, whole grain bread, nuts, and olives all come under the tag of Keto diet.

Keto diet helps increase the concentration and thus mental performance. It also helps to reduce the fear of diabetes. Even if you are a diabetes patient, Keto helps you controlling it. One of the neurological disorders, Epilepsy can be cured taking a strict Keto diet. It is almost a hundred years old therapy using which one can be helped in Epilepsy using a lesser amount of pills.
